Robert Glasper Experiment ft Bilal and Lupe on David Letterman

Black Radio is already the best album of 2012 and it just came out 3 days ago. Doubt anything else tops it this year. Check out this performance.

Steven Tyler & Jimmy Fallon Walk This Way

Well by now most of you should know that Steven Tyler is one of the new judges on American Idol. The man is freaking hilarious! Quite the old dirty man flirt too. Last week he visited Jimmy Fallon to promote the show and the two performed Walk This Way. Sheer comedy I tell ya.

Adele Performs "Rolling In The Deep" on Ellen

The U.K. sensation, Adele performed her latest single, Rolling In The Deep on The Ellen Degeneres Show last month. I'm a bit late on this performance but, I've been playing this song on repeat for about a month now. I mean the gurl can sang! You gotta love Ellen for giving Adele a chance at her first national television appearance. She sure knows how to pick em. For all my U.K. readers, her album entitled 21 comes out January 24th. And if you're in the States, you have to wait until February 22nd. But don't fret...you can pre-order the album now on iTunes. Check out the performance after the jump.

Bilal- Sally (Live)

Bilal performed his song "Sally" at World Cafe Live in Philly 2 months. That song has to be one of my favorite cuts on his first album 1st Born Second. Can we say classic album? Enjoy and make sure you see this brutha live when he comes to your city...it's life changing. One of the best live performers EVER!

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Years! I hope all of you had a safe and fun time bringing in the new year. This has been the first year in about 10 years where I haven't gone out or done something extravangant. I guess my life is moving in a different direction. I'm not sure what direction that is exactly...maturity I suppose. The same things dont' tickle my fancy any more..in other words they don't amuse me. I've learned a lot about myself in the recent months, showing me the kind of person I will be in 2011. New Years resolutions are a waste of time. Sometimes the unknown is better than people knowing your every move. You'll know what I have achieved when you see me.

With all that said...let's move on to the scheduled program. For all of you party animals that were shaking your butts and throwing back shots, I was watching the many New Year Eve specials. Here's a recap of what you missed. Basically Young Money took over NYC. The entire Young Money/Cash Money brought in the New Year with 106 & Park. Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj also performed on Carson Daly's New Year's Eve special which was taped December 17th. We all know by now that 95% of television isn't live.Check out the performances after the jump....

Chrisette Performs Goodbye Game on Lopez Tonight

Chrisette Michele performed my favorite song Goodbye Game off her new CD Let Freedom Reign on Lopez Tonight last night. I wonder what her album sales are...haven't heard much buzz about this album.

-You can play the fool, I'mma  play my hero. I'm playing the Goodbye Game.

Usher Gets Kicked In the Face

Usher is really getting his freak on during this OMG tour and getting hurt too. This is the second time he got hurt in one week. God bless him. That fan almost punctured his eyeball. Geesh! He was a good sport about it though.

Keri Hilson Has Lost Her Mind and Her Pants

Keri Hilson performed her new single Pretty Girl Rock last night on the Lopez Show and to say the least her ass cheeks were hanging out. I am loosing my respect for her by the minute. The name of her new album is called No Boys Allowed and she is taking it way too far. I hate to compare mediocre artists such as herself to greatness but I can't help it. Beyonce showed a lot of skin with her Single Ladies video but it wasn't offensive and it started a movement. Keri had on very thin fishnets and looked like a hooker. That maybe a little harsh but damn, she could've left some things up to our imaginations. She might be worse than Ciara and her nastiness. I was just disgusted by her cheeks hanging out of her boy shorts. Fellas I know yall are going to have a field day with this. Oh well...enjoy!

R. Kelly is Making a Comeback

R. Kelly just performed When a Woman Loves on the  Jimmy Fallon Show moments ago. I really didn't want to like this song, but ever since I saw him perform it on the 2010 Soul Train Awards two weeks ago I've been hooked.

Check out a couple of things ladies and gents. Ladies if you are a crouch watcher like me, then check out his pants. Is it me or does he have a serious tan? R. have you been to the islands recently? He is so almondy. What's up with his beijing hair dye and oversized suit jacket? The outfit was completely off. Don't be mad at me because I say what you are thinking, but afraid to say.

I think Trey Songz would be proud of this new R. Kelly because he is singing soul music again, instead of his infamous raunchy sex driven distasteful lyrics. Gold star for Robert!

New Music: Marsha Ambrosius- Far Away

I am a huge Floetry fan and I still am holding a candle to their reunion. I love them together and separately. Check out the melodic sounds of Ms. Ambrosius performing her 2nd single Far Away from her new album Late Nights & Early Mornings at SOB's.

Throwback Thursdays- Where Is The Love?

Ok so I know this song is extremely old and this rendition is 3 years old but I was watching Greys Anatomy last night and I heard it. What a lovely duet, if I must say so myself. Corrine Bailey Rae and John Legend's voices blend so well together. That John has a voice that sounds good with just about anybody. I'm going to start calling her Mr. Collabo. Enjoy

Bilal- Tainted Love

Bilal covers Gloria Jones' Tainted Love. I love everything that this man does. He's just so damn emotional and expresssive on his songs. You can't help but not to feel what he's saying. And I love a man with a tattoo sleeve. Have mercy! Enjoy.
